AMTA are looking to recruit an Apprentice Production Operative on behalf our well-established client based in Wem, SY4.
Our client is a bespoke rubber manufacturing company with an ability to provide a large range of precision manufactured rubber products in all sizes and volumes.
The position is for an Apprenticeship; the position is initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:
· Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standards
· EAL L2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills)
· English and Maths Functional Skills Level 1 / 2 (if required)
General Duties
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
· Prepare material ready for production.
· Operate machinery to manufacture rubber products in line with customer specifications and quality expectations.
· Booking products in and out.
· Assisting some warehouse duties, such as; picking and packing orders, receiving deliveries and stock take.
· Follow company policies and procedures.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday 6.30AM – 3PM
Weekly Hours: 32
Hourly Rate: £8.00
